The Knights of Sussex Join us this year as our kingdom's knights show off their talents through jousting and sword-fighting! The story evolves throughout the day with each show!	THE ENCHANTED FOREST The unexplored mysteries of Sussex continue to grow ever larger, as this year we introduce a new quest to partake in! Join Sir Gawain as he embarks into the enchanted forest to find the Green Knight! Sign ups are located at the Adventurers Guild!	VIXENS EN GARDE First Weekend Only! The Vixens En Garde are a gorgeous group of blades for hire, taking on traditionally masculine roles, changing the narrative around both Shakespeare and femininity through comic story-telling and powerful swordplay. Their shows yield highly entertaining gender-reversals, clever staging, fierce action sequences, and audience participation that always makes the crowd cheer!
Shakespeare Approves! Join your friendly, neighborhood Shakespeare – Renaissance Festival Awards winner Favorite Comedy Act (2021, 2023), Favorite Solo Stage Act (2022), & Favorite Child-Friendly Act (2018, 2019) – as he takes you on audience-interactive adventures full of merriment: sword fights, mistaken identities, star-cross’d lovers, flying implements of doom, musical numbers, being pursued by a bear, and …death by fluffy kittens! The Shakespearean adventures are zany performances shaped to be fun for everyone!	Temperence Belowe Heathens Beware! Temperance Belowe, the Renaissance Era's least favorite Puritan, is here to keep you in line. She'll be on the lookout for merry-makers and preaching to the masses, whether they like it or not. Don't let her catch you having fun!	The Foxy Bard and Twig Grab a drink and let the Foxy Bard and Twig delight you with their whiskey-fueled shenanigans and enrapture you with music from the world over! But mostly from pubs...the world over. They have songs like you've never heard before, whether it be a unique arrangement of an old favorite, in a language you've never heard of, or because they just made it up!
Erika the Harpist Be mesmerized by the enchanting sounds of Erika's harp, as she plays her celtic music for your listening pleasure!	Onias Ye Mage Join Onias as he dazzles and mystifies you with his magic!	Bad Idea Variety Second and Third Weekends! The Bad Idea Variety show is full of all sorts of fun! Juggling, magic, fire, and all sorts of other bad ideas done for your entertainment!
JEANNIE & LIZ ALLEN First and Second Weekends! Jeannie Allen is a trained coloratura soprano and will perform word re-known opera arias including Queen of the Night from Magic Flute, Bell Song from Lakme and others. Liz Allen is an accredited Singer/Songwriter who will be performing beautiful celtic songs and songs of fantasy.	Misfits of Fortune Join the Misfits of Fortune for high seas hijinks as they search for their lost treasure at the Sparta Renaissance Faire. Cheer on your favorite captain as they match wits, sing shanties, sword fight, and risk life, limb, and dignity for your entertainment. If you're lucky, you might even learn how to fire a cannon!	Crossbones McCoy One Pirate, One Guitar, One Potato. Abandoned by his crew, at a Ren Faire, wearing red, he’s been… marooned! Sail the seas of song with this Surgeon, Shantyman, and Privy Pirate as he navigates his life choices through songs of the sea, drinking, and bathrooms. It’s all Music (with mayhem) until someone loses an eye… then it’s a Treasure Hunt!
The Merry Mob A mob of merry folk who make music and thrill audiences with their competitive improv game show, Spill the Tea!	Heartwood Celts First Weekend Only! Stomp, clap and dance along to Celtic Traditional, Folk Geek Originals and Songs of the sea with this talented music duo - if you're not too busy being nonplussed by the strange instruments you see on stage! Keep old music traditions alive and experience celtic music with the heart still in: Heartwood Celts.	Choose Your Own Air-Venture First Weekend Only! What happens when the audience helps design the show in real time? In Choose Your Own Air-Venture, aerialist Kaitlin Chin turns spectators into collaborators by having them select each move, shaping the narrative of the show and building a one-of-a-kind silks performance from the ground up!
Timbalanced: The Can-Do Circus Carnival Show Step right up for a high-energy blend of circus skills, physical comedy, and interactive carnival fun! Featuring feats of juggling, object manipulation, and a fair amount of silliness, Timbalanced brings an upbeat, family-friendly show where audience members get to join the action and play along. Bring the family, bring your best 'can-do' attitude, and get ready for a show that's a little bit circus, a little bit carnival, and just the right amount of unbalanced!	Pieces of 8 Second and Third Weekends! Travellers. Storytellers. Every single one afflicted with A.D.O.S. (Attention Deficit... OH SQUIRREL!). They are the most dysfunctional family on the shire: PIECES OF 8!! The Belle family presents their Comedy Renaissance Pub Sing, and a cartful of fun!	Taylor's Renaissance Country Dancing Second and Third Weekends! Taylor’s Renaissance Country Dancing showcases the best in renaissance-period dancing edutainment. Learn about the history of country dancing as you participate in a variety of popular Medieval and Renaissance group dances led by our experienced dance mistress who is passionate about sharing the joy of dance from these enchanting eras. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a curious beginner, our shows are designed to be fun, accessible, and enriching.
Crow the Songbird First and Second Weekends! Lively songs, deadly puns, and silly bardic shenanigans! Crow the Songbird is a bard- an adventurer who travels far and wide to share his shenanigans everywhere he goes. Come for music to cheer for, puns to groan at, and a performance that’s an adventure from start to finish!	Captain Frances Drake, The Pirate Queen - You Can't Be Straight At Sea Set sail on board the good ship Intentionality, captained by Frances Drake, the Pirate Queen! On board the Intentionality the Captain has decreed that we fly ALL flags, as she sings shanties and songs about why so many of us can not abide life on land following "polite society's" rules any longer. After all, You Can't Be Straight At Sea!	Sean Whipsy 1 Second Weekend Only! The Whipsy Rover travels the land teaching the art of the whip to one and all, young and old. Come on by, learn to crack a whip, and maybe leave with a whip of your own to keep practicing. The lessons are free, the experience is priceless!!!
Professional Monstrosity First and Third Weekends! The Goodest monster in the land! The Professional Monstrosity uses sideshow and humor to promote bravery, individuality and strength. Fun and fascinating for the whole family! Come learn to BE BRAVE!!!	Celtic Magic with Daniel Greenwolf and Bella Second and Third Weekends! Magic, Comedy, and Possible Hot Flaming Doomity Death returns to Sparta! See these two storytelling Magicians perform amazing prestidigitation and defy fiery death while keeping you on the edge of your seat with maniacal laughter! A show good for the whole family, as long as your family is a little twisted. Rated PG.	Bardy Pardy Second and Third Weekends! Stylish and fun music sung by Renaissance peasant ladies! Bardy Pardy are the singing trio of Hannah Ward, Chelsea Carlson, & Stephanie M. Krause (as ‘Talulah Tattersby,’ ‘Ella Grimsley,’ & ‘Molly O’Flaherty’), and they are delighted to bring their brand of musical shenanigans to the Sparta New Jersey Renaissance Festival!
Johnny Strum Second Weekend Only! Johnny Strum wanders the lanes armed with a guitar, a quick wit, and several centuries’ worth of music. He draws from the old folk tradition, with tales of love, war, work, drinking, mischief, and ordinary people getting themselves into extraordinary trouble. Come for the music, stay for the company, and make a new friend or two along the way.	Punnic War Third Weekend Only! Punnic War packs more dad jokes into a half an hour than most people experience from even their punniest uncles. Join us for a show that blends the spectacle of professional wrestling with groans of wordplay. Our competitors bring their love of puns to a variety of topics our audience can come up with in their battle for the Punderversal Championship Belt. They will attempt to rack up as many puns as they can, make each other laugh, and throw each other off with strange turn
