VENDOR SHOPPING SPREE!At the Sparta NJ Renaissance Festival it pays to shop! We are proud to introduce an opportunity for our shoppers to win even more from their favorite faire vendors! To get started, pick up punch cards at our entrance! For every $10 threshold you pass while purchasing from participating vendors you will get a hole punched on your card. When your card has ten holes punched on it, you may deposit it into the locked box at the Queen's Pavilion. | ARCHERYAlong the road of the faire, nestled in the beautiful woods, lies the mystical gaming glen. For a modest arrow fee, test your skill with a bow! Our range has a multitude of fun and interesting targets for all levels of skill. | THE ROGUES GUILDWith the festival being announced for another year, the Rogues Guild of Sussex, has found an ideal opportunity to target the nobility and also bolster its ranks by recruiting new members. With a fully immersive encampment showing the way the Scandinavian people lived, sailed, and fought. With hands-on displays and demos, games, and fight a viking, you will learn some history in a fun and exciting way! |

The Sparta NJ Renaissance Festival is proud to have him performing blacksmith demonstrations throughout the day! | Band of the HawkeThe Band of the Hawk is a group of living history interpreters operating under The Kingdom of Lucerne, Inc. Focusing on everyday life in 16th and 17th century Europe. We offer fencing, black powder, and blacksmithing demonstrations as well as a generous display of period weaponry, giving you an interactive and educational glimpse into the life of an Elizabethan militia. | Kita MermaidAs you look over the lake, you might spot a shimmer in the water. If you look closely you might just catch a glimpse of the mermaid! The mermaid named Kita loves to splash and play with any and all new friends she meets. She loves to show up at birthday parties and to read books to humans. But her most favorite thing to do of all is to talk with the humans and learn more about them. So, if you see a shimmer in the water, close your eyes and listen hard. You just might hear her song. |
THE ADVENTURER'S GUILDAttention, adventurers! Join the Adventurers' Guild for another exciting year of questing! Complete quests around the faire grounds to become an official adventurer of the Kingdom of Sussex and a chance to score a prize from the King’s Armory. We have quests for both young and older adventurers! Our location will be at the queen’s pavilion right next to the local smithy! Do you have what it takes to become an adventurer? | MAGICAL FISHINGSurprisingly fun and addictive magical fishing! Using the mystery of "Lodestones" (Magnets), fish in our lake for all sorts of treasures and oddities! This activity can be found on the dock next to the Queens Barge! | Captain Portias ParrotsAfter traveling the seven seas I.... Captain Portia .....have been given the opportunity to "drop anchor" in this beautiful Kingdom of Sparta! Here I will be showing off my most incredible and beloved parrots that I have collected from all over the world... Join me and my crew and most especially my parrots for a day of merriment in our glorious kingdom.....I promise it will be a day to remember! |
